SPIRAL OR PEEL THE APPLE PATTERN



This pattern is a favorite of mine.  It begins with a circle.   At a designated position the lead rider enters the circle.  Riding around the inside of the circle the lead rider  gradually works to the center while all other riders are following in her path.  Upon reaching the center the lead rider does a roll back to begin spirialing out in the opposite direction with all other riders rolling back in exactly the same spot and following the lead rider out from the center.  The end result is another circle which is now rotating in the opposite direction of the first circle.  This is a basic "follow the leader" maneuver which is quite easy to learn and very impressive to watch, especially with a large company of riders.
